The Philosophy
Soothing and moisturising the White Moss Skincare collection is ideal for delicate and sensitive skin. With body care products focusing on naturally active plant-based ingredients, the range champions extracts of Chamomile and Aloe Vera for a collection that is well suited to men and women alike as well as those with particularly sensitive skin. Gently cleansing without altering the skin’s hydro-lipid balance, all surfactants used within the White Moss Skincare collection are of plant origin and all free from Parabens, GMOs and Petrolates.

Key Extracts
Aloe Vera: A perennial plant from southern Africa, Aloe Vera is renowned for its large fleshy spiked leaves. The leaves are pressed to obtain an extract with numerous well-known cosmetic properties. Rich in vitamins, it is an excellent aid in treating dry dehydrated skin, possessing a precious soothing action.

Shea Butter: Native only to Africa, Shea butter is obtained from cold pressing the seeds of the Karité timber tree. Famous for its cosmetic properties, Shea butter contains vitamins A, B, E and F and has both antioxidant and anti-ageing properties. The characteristic that makes the butter truly unique, however, is the very high content of unsaponifiable substances. These botanical compounds are fantastic at stimulating the formation of new collagen in connective tissue, making the skin firmer and more elastic.

Calendula: Also known as Marigold extract, Calendula is renowned for its anti-redness and soothing properties. The extract’s active ingredients, in particular flavonoids, have an anti-inflammatory action on sensitive and irritated skin. Helping to improve the skin’s moisture balance, skin is left more elastic and better able to fight irritations.

Chamomile
Originating in southern and eastern Europe, as well as parts of Asia, chamomile is a small daisy-like flower known for its strong anti-redness and soothing properties. Exceedingly gentle on the skin, the extract is fantastic for delicate and sensitive skin. Rich in Flavonoids, the flower is naturally soothing, antioxidant and skin-purifying.
